He said breeding, nutrition and health of animals are the main focus areas for achieving the target. "Currently, India accounts for 24 per cent or one-fourth of total world milk production. "The Government of India and NDDB are working together on its mission to increase productivity. "Our milk production has been growing at 6 per cent per annum for the last five-six years, while the global growth rate is 2 per cent.
