Apart from that, there has been greater involvement of the Pakistani military in safeguarding Saudi defence and security interests in the Arabian Peninsula and especially in Yemen. The Saudi-Pakistani defence cooperation has intensified since the two countries signed a mutual defence agreement on September 17, 2025. Mr. Misri pointed out that India’s defence engagement has grown not just with the UAE but with “a few other countries in the region as well”. Both leaders also welcomed greater civil nuclear cooperation between India and the UAE. Another Letter of Intent was signed between the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre and the Space Agency of the UAE for the development of the Space Industry in the UAE.
