Bagde was earlier asked to deposit 90,500 in an account for completing various formalities. He was later summoned at a hotel to receive the cash prize as Eric came to hand him over the reward. Bagde was handed over a bag which was told to be having five lakh pound. Eric was awarded one-year imprisonment and fine of 3,000 by the CJM for violation of The Foreigner’s Act and similar quantum of punishment for flouting the norms of The passport Act.
