Hyperloop is the 5th mode of transportation, a high-speed train/pod that travels in a near vacuum tube. His company SpaceX organises the Hyperloop Pod Competition to accelerate the development of functional prototypes and encourage student innovation. Avishkar’s pod is indigenously designed and developed and is said to be India’s first-ever self-propelled completely autonomous Hyperloop Pod in India. Whereas Magnetic levitation is to prevent friction from the ground and the vacuum tube eliminates air drag and friction. "Although we have developed the pod, we will also need to master the vacuum tube technology to completely indigenize it," they said.
