The carrier, on its part, said Rai had used threatening language while speaking with a flight attendant and was offloaded for unruly behaviour. Rai also claimed that IndiGo staff said mosquitoes were all over India and asked, “So will you leave the country?”. When asked about IndiGo’s claim of unruly behaviour, Rai said if that was the case then why was he allowed to travel in another IndiGo flight and no police complaint was lodged. “I have ordered an enquiry into the incident of off-loading passenger Dr Saurabh Rai by IndiGo at Lucknow Airport,” Prabhu stated in a tweet.
