Independence Day celebrated in Seoul View(s):Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Independence of Sri Lanka in Seoul. The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Republic of Korea, with the Lankan community, celebrated the 75th Anniversary of Independence in Seoul on Febr 4. Multi-religious blessings were conducted by the venerable maha sangha and religious dignitaries to bestow peace and prosperity on Sri Lanka and her people. In addition, the Lankan community in the Republic of Korea handed over a donation for the Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka currently holds the position of the Vice President of the Assembly of GGGI and the Vice Chair of the Council of the GGGI.
