Freedom fighter Kazi Mannan inaugurated the competition as the chief guest Friday at the carrom federation hall room, Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka. Carrom federation general secretary Ashraf Ahmed Lion, treasurer Hasnain Imtiaz Shihab and other officials and players were also present among others during the occasion. That is why we have staged the Independence Day Carrom Tournament like the previous years. Hopefully we will soon introduce a national carrom competition.
