Statistics from the Alzheimer society show 1 in 20 people in Canada age 65 have Alzheimer's — and that increases to 1 in 4 by age 85. (Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex)Nalini Sen, director of research for the Alzheimer Society of Canada said huge investments are being made into research and teams are beginning to examine dementia through a new, "multi-dimensional" approach.
