Incoming head of scandal-hit Irish dancing body pulls out of job at last minute


The world’s biggest Irish dancing body has been dealt another blow after its new managing director backed out of the job at the last minute. It is understood that Sarah Bragg-Bolger, the managing director of Dublin Youth Theatre, had accepted the newly created role leading the beleaguered An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG) earlier this month. There are also widespread concerns about whether or not CLRG can afford to hold the World Championships in Dublin next year. The new managing director role was a brand new position at CLRG, which was created in the wake of the alleged feis fixing scandal. “The Department is aware of recent reports concerning the accounts filed by CLRG with the Companies Office.
