Linemen love buffets, and 330-pound Oregon-bound Chris Randazzo of Don Lugo was enjoying his buffet lunch on Monday as part of the Southern Section championship luncheon in Long Beach. His plate was filled with potatoes, carrots, meat, chicken, gravy and salad. It was so loaded that he had no room in his hands to pick up dessert. Asked if he was going to get some pie and cake, Randazzo said: “Not yet.”Tommy Brown, a 330-pound lineman from Mater Dei headed to Alabama, was making a late comeback challenging Randazzo. He was late because of a TV photo commitment, but once he was in the room, he went for two helpings.
