Wiedefeld called Hogan’s proposal “a very good step,” while noting that the governor recognized that it’s not a long-term fix for Metro’s finances. Metro board member Christian Dorsey, who also is a member of the Arlington County Board, said: “Four years is not a permanent solution. Metro Board Chairman Jack Evans said he was “very, very pleased” by Hogan’s change of thinking.
