NewsThe 70th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Lanka Army was held at the Galle Face Green in Colombo today (Oct 10). Sri Lanka Army was founded on October 10, 1949 as the 'Ceylon Army' with Brigadier Anton Muthukumaru serving as the first Army Commander of the country.
