After 66 days shutdown, Shimulia launch and sea boat terminals have come back to life, boats are being used for crossing. Unlike the days of shutdown, ferries are now filled with more vehicles than people. Passengers are still hiring smaller vehicles to travel to Dhaka. The government has taken such a decision to resume operations in pursuit of life and livelihood amid the pandemic.
