The annual Joy Bangla Concert has begun at the Bangladesh Army Stadium by playing the national anthem to rekindle the historic March 7 speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The concert started at 1.30pm on Saturday, through the performance of five university-based musical bands– Introit, Arekta Rock Band, Adverb, Sin and Conclusion. Popular bands F Minor, Minar Rahman, Avoid Rafa, Shunno, Vikings, Lalon and Arbovirus are also scheduled to perform to delight the audience in the late afternoon.
