The March 3, 2026 total lunar eclipse was one of the most highly-anticipated celestial events of the year thus far. This 'blood Moon' eclipse saw the Moon turn red as Earth passed between the Sun and the Moon, casting our planet's shadow onto the lunar surface. The lunar eclipse wasn't visible in the UK, Europe or Africa, but was instead visible in North America, East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
