When Lindsay Pinchuk posted on her social media the day after the surprise attack by Hamas on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, she did not realize she would become an “accidental activist” and would use her platform to speak out against anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric. Although she has lost at least 5,000 followers since Oct. 7 and has received nasty messages, she also gained 18,000 followers.
