The focus of the four-day Women Deliver conference was on ‘power’ as a driving force behind progress and change of the health, rights, and well-being of girls and women across the globe. The conference drew huge attendance of about 8,000 delegates from across the world. “We are all bring our knowledge, expertise and together we are moving towards a gender equal world. In gender equal world, everybody wins. Gender equal world is healthier, wealthier and is more productive and is more peaceful.”Iversen said the key message from the conference is that putting the things on notice and “stand together, we speak together, we make change together.
