A highly boosted Pakistan team are just two wins away from lifting their second T20 World Cup title and for the way they have performed this year, they would absolutely deserve such a feat. Pakistan moved to the semi-finals as the only unbeaten team of the tournament having won all the five matches in Group 2 in the Super 12 stage. In contrast, Aaron Finch's Australia will hope to hold on to their momentum, beat an opponent high in moral and keep their chances alive of lifting the T20 World Cup trophy for the very first time. Pakistan and Australia till date have played 23 games in the format with the former leading the head-to-head by 13-9. In the T20 World Cup the teams have played six games and won three each.
