An eight-year-old girl, who was comatose for more than a month after a wooden tava thrown from the 14th floor of a 22-storey building fell on her head, has shown “miraculous improvement” and is likely to be discharged in a week, said doctors. While initially the progress was slow, the child has shown signs of ‘miraculous recovery’ in the past two weeks. As Hezequa’s family awaits her discharge, the little girl throws smiles and flying kisses to all those who visit her. Her father, Faizan Kapadia, who runs an automobile repair shop, is praying for his daughter’s speedy recovery. “She is just a little girl, but has so much willpower to get back to a normal state,” he said.
