The controversial Rajapaksa family has swept back to power in Sri Lanka, claiming victory Sunday morning in the presidential election. The final outcome hasn't been released, but with more than half the votes counted, Gotabaya Rajapaksa was well ahead, preliminary results showed. His supporters set off fireworks in the capital of Colombo. His main opponent, Sajith Premadasa, conceded defeat.
