Flight MS724 of an Airbus A330-300 arrived Hurghada with 300 Russian tourists on board. The airport staff received Russian tourists with roses, souvenirs, and flyers that include information about Egyptian tourist destinations in the Russian language. Lamia Kamel, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Promotion was among the recipient to welcome Russian tourists at the airport. She noted that the Russian tourist group expressed his happiness to return to the Egyptian tourist resorts in the Red Sea where they will enjoy the sunny beaches, landscapes, warm atmosphere and the various marine activities. Kamel also said that the Russian tourists will conduct tourist, cultural and entertainment tours, in addition to visiting the cities of Cairo and Luxor.
