CAIRO – 27 May 2021: Two Tunisian military planes arrived on Thursday at East Cairo Airbase carrying large amounts of humanitarian and medical aid materials to Palestinians. The move came as part of the continuing Egyptian efforts aiming at helping the Palestinian people. Cairo succeeded, on May 20, to secure ceasefire in Gaza. Regional and international parties welcomed the ceasefire that was reached as a result of the Egyption efforts exerted during the past period. According to the United Nations, 40,000 Palestinians got displaced – mainly from the North to the South – while 2,500 lost their homes.
