The west facade is in the middle of the royal entrance to the mosque, and the minaret of the mosque is located in the southeastern corner.The mosque consists of an equilateral square surrounded by four huge red granite columns. The minbar is decorated with floral inscriptions deeply carved and painted with gold.The mosque is located on Abdeen Street and occupies the eastern part of Abdeen Palace. Adjacent to his palace, is a small mosque known as Al-Fateh Mosque.Abdeen Bey worked to renew the mosque, so the mosque was named after him, Abdeen Mosque. The mosque dates back to the era of King Fouad I 1338 AH / 1918, where King Fouad ordered the renewal of the Mosque. It was set up in the style of Ottoman mosques, and its space has been doubled.
