Working Abroad Q&A: Each week, Irish Times Abroad meets an Irish person working in an interesting job overseas. This week, Isabelle O’Connell, from Rathgar in Dublin, tells us about her life as a concert pianist, based in New York. I perform as a soloist and in various ensembles and I’m on the piano faculty at Bard College in upstate New York. I found that being in NYC broadened my horizons, and as a result I could dream bigger and achieve more. Do you think working abroad has offered you greater opportunities?
