Herman Vogel Once upon a time, a Persian prince hired 10,000 Greek soldiers to help him depose his brother and gain control of the Imperial throne. And now, in Minnesota, another brave 10,000 face their own daunting task -- freeing themselves from servitude to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and a Governor that consigned them to oppression. In 2013, you see, Governor Mark Dayton signed a bill into law that declared Minnesota homecare workers "public employees," but only for purposes of collective bargaining. In other words, so that the Governor's friends and benefactors at the SEIU could move in, which they very swiftly did. These care providers, called personal care attendants (PCA's), care for a disabled person in their home, often a loved one like a child or spouse.
