Reed and Clark played together on the same Seattle Seahawks defensive line from 2016 to 2018. Another former teammate of Clark, Taco Charlton, could further fortify the pass rush. After getting an endorsement from Clark, Charlton signed a one-year, $825,000 contract with the Chiefs last offseason, but an ankle injury limited Charlton to just seven games. Charlton signed another one-year deal with the Chiefs (for $1.128 million) this offseason, allowing him to spend another year under Clark’s wing.
