When Anne Murray stepped onstage for the first time, it was in her hometown of Springhill, N.S. It’s fitting, then, that the new feature-length documentary on Murray’s career is titled “Anne Murray: Full Circle.” Airing Friday on CBC TV and streaming on CBC Gem, the now retired singer offers a candid account of her time as Canada’s musical darling. All three sing alongside Murray in “Anne Murray Duets: Friends & Legends,” one of the final albums she released before retiring. But the transition to retired life took time. “I love that.”“Anne Murray: Full Circle” debuts Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. on CBC and CBC Gem.
