Imran urged to postpone PTI’s long march

The federal government on Friday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to postpone the party’s political gathering in Rawalpindi due to security threats and reports received from intelligence agencies. "I advise Imran Khan to postpone the useless gathering as intelligence agencies have informed the government about a red alert as any terrorist or terror organisation can exploit the situation and target the gathering," he added. The minister said that he had instructed the police to ensure strict security at all entry and exit points of the PTI's long march venue in Rawalpindi because of red alert. You can even meet Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, they won't refuse," he added. He said Imran was involved in the worst form of corruption and he would have to be answerable for all his deeds.
