PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has claimed that former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was seeking an NRO (deal) by holding secret meetings at the President House in Islamabad. She was referring to reports that the former premier held a meeting with an ‘important personality’ at Aiwan-e-Sadr in the federal capital recently. He had directed them to ensure full participation of the people and advised them to consider “real freedom” as “jihad”. He added that if they do not get “real freedom” now, they might never get it at all. Responding to a question about PTI’s narrative of real freedom, Maryam in today’s presser said Imran’s entire narrative is based on lies.
