In response to the attack on two of its leaders, Imran H Sarker and Sonaton Ullash, Gonojagoron Moncho has decided to hold a protest rally. In a press release sent out by Gonojagoron Moncho, the organisation called for a protest rally at 5pm Sunday in Shahbag. However, as they were leaving the courthouse, they were attacked by Chhatra League members. Imran and other witnesses say that the Chhatra League members pelted stones at Imran and Ullash’s car. However, the complainant, Golam Rabbani claimed that the Chhatra League members had only hurled rotten eggs at Imran’s car.
