On Friday’s much-awaited judgement in the Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen disqualification case, rejecting Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi’s petition for Khan’s disqualification the apex court rejected bid to oppose the opposition leader. During their first meeting after the verdict, Khan discussed varying aspects of the SC’s decision with Tareen and asked him to continue performing his duties as PTI’s secretary general until further advised.
