Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah detailed on Tuesday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case, said the PTI chief's arrest was in accordance with law. The former prime minister was arrested by Rangers officials from the Islamabad Judicial Complex a couple of hours ago, the IG Islamabad confirmed. He was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust case, the federal capital's top cop had informed at the time. Addressing a presser after the PTI chief's arrest, Sanaullah said that Imran was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials in the Al-Qadir Trust case and that there were “dozens” of other corruption cases against him. He claimed that Imran and his spouse Bushra Bibi were the only two trustees in the matter.
