For Djokovic, a strangely tame loss, featuring 30 unforced errors, will spark renewed questions about the world number two’s sudden decline. After surrendering his four-year reign as Tour Finals champion with little resistance, he will be firmly under the microscope next season. With the finish line in sight, Djokovic got one break back, but Murray quickly regained his focus to seal one of the best wins of his life.
