Chidiebube Okeoma, OwerriImo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha has said the Internally Generated Revenue of the state under the Rochas Okorocha government was “shrouded in scam”. According to a statement on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, Ihedioha spoke when he undertook an unscheduled inspection of the state secretariat. The statement quoted Ihedioha as saying his administration was working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the concession of government establishments. It said, “Imo IGR is shrouded in scam. I am of the belief that a worker deserves his wages but the money has to be generated.
