The schools immunisation programme for north Wicklow is taking place this week at the vaccination centre at Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones. 780 children will be vaccinated for MMR, tetanus, polio, HPV and other infectious diseases, before the centre begins work vaccinating for Covid-19 next week. 'So our school immunisation programmes have been put on hold so that our teams can deliver. About 800 children in south Wicklow who missed out in the past year will be included. The Schools Immunisation Programme is part of a national strategy to protect children from infectious diseases through vaccination.
