She most likely has a mutation that she is something kinda inbetween. There are 3 different genetic mutations that can cause a female to have a Y chromosome and produce non functioning non visible internal testes and have higher testosterone. Also possible that her family or her country doesn't have access to these types of doctors and they never really knew what was going on. She isn't the only person to compete that has had these types of genetic mutations, the first was many years ago, like in the 40s or 50s. That is completely different than Will Thomas swimming against Rhiley Gaines.
