Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has explained to President William Ruto why he arrived at an event in Nakuru about one hour after him. Gachagua arrived at the Annual Akorino Conference after the President had arrived and the service was underway. “Mr President, first of all, I want to ask for forgiveness from you for coming late. Gachagua arrived at the event as Akorino leaders were praying for the President, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika by his side. The governor was forced to move to another seat for the DP to be next to the President.
