Isiolo Governor Abdi Hassan Guyo has said he is ready for a by-election after leaving Jubilee party. Guyo was also the only governor having been elected on the Jubilee ticket under the larger Azimio coalition. Speaking on his relationship with President Ruto, Guyo that he lowkey supported President William Ruto in the August 2022 elections. "Leo lazima tuambiliane ukweli, kuna watu walikusupport wa mchana na sisi tulikuwa wa usiku.. Mimi na wenzangu tulikuwa wa usiku," Guyo said. Even before Ruto was sworn in as President, Isiolo Governor Guyo said his government is ready to work with him.
