The beauty of the smallest fragments that form a perfect whole is reflected in "Lightscape", which is running at La Lanta Fine Art in River City Bangkok until May 3. This is a solo exhibition by Sitvut Prabripoo who fuses his specialisation in coloured glass techniques with the style of Impressionist painting to create art inspired by the environment, living things and nature. The exhibition illuminates the perpetual motion of natural light as it dances across mosaics of coloured mirrors, highlighting their brilliant yet brittle veneer against the softer textures of oil-painted details. As a result, viewers are never merely appreciating a work of art, but simultaneously observing natural phenomena in action. La Lanta is on the 2nd floor of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, and opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm.
