The Education Ministry has given three months time to the unregistered madrasas for taking approval from the government. The Technical and Madrasa Education Division of the ministry issued an order in this regard on Sunday. The order, signed by Assistant Secretary Abdul Khalek, asked madrasas to follow the curriculum and textbooks of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) and Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board. According to the order, the madrasas have to hoist national flag and the students must sing the national anthem. The Directorate of Madrasa Education, Madrasa Education Board, deputy commissioners, district education officers, Upazila executive officers and education officers will monitor the activities of the madrasas regularly.
