ODM party leader Raila Odinga has said he will use the same techniques that he shared with the late Tanzania's President John Pombe Magufuli to transform the Kenyan economy if elected president. The ODM chief revealed that he was Magufuli’s top advisor on how to manage the economy and run a government. “In Tanzania, my friend the late President Magufuli did a good job and those who are here can attest to what he did. According to Raila, the late President Magufuli called him to Tanzania a few days after he was elected into office in 2015 for talks on how he could revamp the neighbouring country's economy. Raila also pledged to ensure all Kenyans access basic health care services by facilitating them with NHIF coverage.
