KUALA LUMPUR: MCA Youth chief Datuk Chong Sin Woon says he will not give up fighting for a moderate and progressive Malaysia. "I come across as one Youth chief who does not toe the line," he said at the opening of the MCA Youth 53rd annual general meeting (AGM) here Saturday (Nov 4). Chong, who is Deputy Education Minister, also touched on the importance of inclusivity and meritocracy in charting the nation's future. Chong said this showed Dr Mahathir was running short of political model and has to resort to back-stabbing its once long time comrade. Chong said Dr Mahathir chose to defend DAP, a party that is good at stirring racial sentiments to gain support from the Chinese.
