Iliad SA said Monday that it has launched a public tender offer to acquire all the shares in Polish telecommunications operator Play in cash and debt for a total of roughly 2.2 billion euros ($2.37 billion) -- a move which is expected to grant Iliad an accretive effect on its free cash flow and earnings per share. The French telecommunications company said the deal's enterprise value is about EUR3.5 billion.
