MANILA, Philippines — After days of speculation, an Ateneo top official finally confirmed Dave Ildefonso’s homecoming to Katipunan. This will mark the return of the second-generation player to Ateneo where he spent his high school career that was highlighted by a UAAP title. Last year, Ildefonso normed 17.1 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Bulldogs. He will still have two playing years for the Eagles. His brother, Shaun, meanwhile, is likely to stay at NU with only a season left in his eligibility.
