Rift Valley leaders have assured Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of their support. Led by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, the leaders told Gachagua to ignore the noises and continue delivering on his mandate. “We are telling you as leaders from the Rift valley, we are behind you and the President a 100 per cent. Senator Nyutu highlighted the importance of Murang’a’s recognition in national politics, advocating for Ndindi Nyoro as a preferable choice over Gachagua. "We will request Ruto to choose a young person from Murang’a who is Ndindi Nyoro," Nyutu stated.
