THOUGH most tertiary students will not be returning to campus until October, public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) have been putting in effort to ignite the Merdeka spirit among staff and students. Sharing her sentiment, the school’s principal Rohana Yusof said it is important to ignite the spirit of Merdeka among youngsters amid the Covid-19 pandemic, which has dampened the spirit of many.
