Iggy Azalea And Island Records Part Ways - News Summed Up

Iggy Azalea And Island Records Part Ways

Iggy Azalea may have survived the summer at Island Records, but the autumn is another story. Taken from her Survive The Summer EP, that latter track managed to chart for a single week on the Hot 100 before disappearing from the ranking promptly thereafter. That "Kream" cracked the Hot 100 even briefly demonstrates her appeal with an existing listenership. Furthermore, Azalea can leverage her known name on the features market now in ways she was arguably unable to in the Def Jam or Island days. And unless she can do that, the likelihood of an actual Iggy Azalea comeback remains at best a remote possibility.
