The newly installed Chief Imam of Igarra, Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, Sheik Tajudeen Garuba, has said that one of his aims in office would be to build an Islamic Centre to check cybercrime through the teaching of morals. Garuba lamented that the issue of cybercrime in the locality was not limited to the young but all and sundry are involved. “Looking at our community critically, we will see a lot of challenges starring at us in the eyes. We are in a community where cybercrime (Yahoo yahoo) is perpetrated by all and sundry. It cuts across young, old, males and females except a few”, the new chief imam lamented.
