Director Sandeep Vanga opened up about the flak that the film is receiving in some pretty controversial remarks. Talking about a scene in the film where Kabir Singh physically assaults his girlfriend Preeti, Vanga said, “She slapped him without a reason, at least Kabir had a reason to slap her. If you can’t slap, if you can’t touch your woman wherever you want, if you can’t kiss, I don’t see emotion there.”Kabir Singh has surpassed the 200 crore mark at the box office.
