On Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken made his case before the Senate Appropriations Committee for why the United States should support both Israel and Ukraine in their ongoing conflicts. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) has firmly opposed the continued funding of Ukraine and pairing Ukraine aid with support for Israel. "A clown show, that's exactly what it is," Tuberville said, referring to Blinken's latest proposal. "On the Hill, they look for any kind of crisis to make money, borrow money. We're declining as a nation, and if we don't make our country stronger and stronger, we're going to have huge problems outside our borders."
